Admittedly, the twisted logic of those who promote the false doctrine of the Trinity can make understanding the seven (7) spirits of God more difficult than it needs to be. Jesus will rule all mankind from Jerusalem for 1,000 years (known as the Millennium). This verse clearly says that the seven lamps are the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 4:5b says, There were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. These verses discuss the fact that the Lord, when he returns to rule the earth, will righteously judge in favor of the poor and meek. In brief, the seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God for His building. ![]() The stems, or offshoots, of the Spirit of the Lord are Counsel and Might. ![]() The HOLY SPIRIT showed me that only two of the seven Spirits of GOD are revealed in Isaiah chapter 11, which are 1) the Spirit of the Lord and 2) the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. It is the spirit of the Lord (Jehovah), which is found at the beginning of the verse and which makes everything possible.Įvidence that Isaiah is primarily prophesizing concerning Jesus Christ's second coming (and afterwards) is found after verse 4 of chapter 11. The Spirit of Knowledge But that assumption is incorrect. The last of the seven, also recorded in Isaiah 11:2, is easily overlooked. NABRE From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Seven flaming torches were burning in front of the throne. They are wisdom and understanding (both related to the intellect and discernment), counsel and might (both practical in nature), plus knowledge and the fear of the Eternal (which relates to the relationship with the Father). Seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning before the throne, NOG Lightning, noise, and thunder came from the throne. ![]() They are given in three sets of two each. The Bible also states that God the Holy Spirit is also known as The Seven Spirits of God. Six of the seven gifts that will rest or abide in Christ are obvious in verse 2.
